reCover

A mixed-format 16-week programme for people with persistent symptoms or diagnoses

Introduction to reCover:

Living with ongoing symptoms or a long-term diagnosis often means becoming highly organised - yet still feeling that something is missing.

Appointments are attended.

Recommendations are followed.

Tests are performed.

And yet, there may still be fatigue, fluctuations, uncertainty, or the sense that your health lacks an overarching structure.

Over time, this can become both physically and mentally exhausting.

I created the reCover for this situation.

It is a structured 16-week process combining group learning with individual consultations. My role in this programme is to help you organise, prioritise and better understand your health - while working alongside your existing medical care.

Bring your symptoms, previous experiences and test results.

Over time, patterns begin to emerge.

Priorities become clearer.

Next steps feel more deliberate.

My perspective is shaped not only by decades of clinical experience but also by navigating long-term health challenges personally.

This is not about replacing your healthcare providers.

It is about strengthening your ability to navigate your situation with greater clarity and steadiness.

A structured approach to complex health

Many long-term health problems may look different on paper, but they often affect the same core systems in the body - energy production, recovery, sleep, stress regulation and inflammation.

Rather than chasing isolated symptoms, in reCover, we focus on:

  • Understanding how these systems interact

  • Identifying which areas are currently under the most strain

  • Sequencing changes in a logical and sustainable order

  • Avoiding unnecessary or poorly timed interventions

This reduces overwhelm.

It also reduces the constant need to search for new answers without a clear framework.

How the 16 Weeks are structured

The programme unfolds in three broad phases:

Phase 1: Clarify and Stabilise

We establish a comprehensive overview of your health history, current symptoms and lifestyle factors.
Early priorities are identified, and unnecessary complexity is removed.

Phase 2: Structure and Implement

Foundational systems are addressed in a deliberate order.
Adjustments are introduced gradually and reviewed regularly.

Phase 3: Consolidate and Prepare Forward

Progress is evaluated.
What has improved is reinforced.
Future direction becomes clearer and more self-sustaining.

The pacing is intentional.

The goal is steady progress, not intensity.

What's included

The reCover combines structured group learning with individual oversight and practical tools.

Everything is designed to reduce complexity - not add to it.

1. A Comprehensive Starting Point

Before the programme begins, we review your health history in detail through the Comprehensive Health Evaluation Questionnaire (CHEQ) and any relevant test results.

This allows me to see patterns that may not be obvious from isolated symptoms.

From this, we establish clear priorities.

Throughout the programme, a shorter follow-up tool - the Body Stress Score (BSS) - helps us monitor progress and identify where your system is currently under the most strain.

We begin with clarity.

2. Weekly Group Sessions

Each week, I present one core topic relevant to long-term health challenges.

These sessions focus on:

  • Understanding how the body’s systems interact

  • Clarifying what matters most

  • Introducing changes in a deliberate order

There is space for questions and discussion.

You are encouraged to attend live, but recordings are available throughout your 16 weeks.

3. Monthly One-to-One Consultations

Each month, we meet individually.

Here we:

  • Review progress

  • Adjust priorities

  • Refine strategy

  • Discuss appropriate lifestyle changes

Consider testing or supplementation only when it adds meaningful clarity

Your situation is never generalised.

4. Structured Written Guidance

Each week, you receive a short written overview of the topic and any key actions discussed.

This maintains continuity between sessions and reduces the sense of being left alone with information.

5. Access to Resources

You have access to curated resources aligned with the topics we cover.

These are intended to support your specific priorities - not to create additional tasks.

You are not expected to “study.”

The CHEQ & BSS assessments

The Comprehensive Health Evaluation Questionnaire (CHEQ) is the foundation of the programme.

It gathers a detailed overview of your medical history, current symptoms and lifestyle factors. Its purpose is not to label, but to identify patterns.

Patterns allow prioritisation.

From this starting point, we determine what deserves attention first - and what can safely wait.

The Body Stress Score (BSS) is a shorter follow-up tool used during and after the programme. It helps us monitor how different systems are responding and where your current focus should be.

The CHEQ establishes clarity.

The BSS tracks direction.

Weekly sessions

The weekly sessions form the backbone of the programme.

Each session explores one essential aspect of long-term health in a structured, accessible way.

I explain the rationale behind each initiative and outline the simplest way to implement it. There is space for questions, clarification and discussion.

You may find that you recognise elements of your own situation in what others describe. Often, this shared perspective is as valuable as the material itself.

Live attendance is encouraged, but recordings remain available throughout your participation.

The 16-week format is intentional. It allows time for understanding, adjustment and trust to develop within the group.

Priority access to events

As a reCover participant, you receive early access to selected webinars and events.

These sessions explore topics in greater depth when additional clarity is useful.

Participation is always optional.

You simply choose anything that would be of value to you.

Upgrade options

The reCover is designed as a group-based programme.

However, if you feel that a more individualised structure would be more appropriate, there may be opportunities to transition into my one-to-one programme, reFocus, subject to availability.

This ensures continuity, should your circumstances require it.

How to begin

The first step is not a 16-week commitment.

It begins with completing the Comprehensive Health Evaluation Questionnaire (CHEQ) and meeting with me to review it in detail.

During this consultation, we determine whether the reCover programme is appropriate for you. If it is not, I will say so.

The aim is clarity — not recruitment.

If the programme feels like the right fit, we clarify your initial priorities before the group begins.

There is no obligation to continue beyond this point.

Frequently asked questions:

“I’ve tried everything.”

Many people who join the reCover feel this way.

Often, what they have tried are individual strategies — sometimes many of them — but without a clear structure or sequencing.

The reCover does not introduce endless new initiatives. Instead, I help you organise what matters most, decide what can wait, and apply changes in a deliberate order.

The difference is not necessarily new information. It is coherence and timing.

“I don’t have the energy for this.”

This is understandable.

The programme is designed to reduce cognitive load, not increase it.

Changes are introduced gradually and reviewed regularly. The goal is steady adjustment, not intensity.

Participation does require engagement — but it should not feel like taking on another full-time responsibility.

“What if it doesn’t work?”

No responsible practitioner can promise outcomes.

What I can offer is a structured process grounded in experience, observation and careful prioritisation.

For many people, clarity alone reduces anxiety and improves decision-making. From there, adjustments become more targeted.

Progress may look different for different people — but the process remains steady.

“How is this different from what my doctor does?”

Medical care is essential and irreplaceable.

Doctors are responsible for diagnosis, treatment decisions and clinical oversight.

My role is different.

In the reCover, I focus on helping you understand patterns across systems, prioritise lifestyle and behavioural adjustments, and organise the many pieces of information you may already have.

This programme works alongside your medical care, not in place of it.
