reGroup

Weekly drop-in sessions with membership benefits

Introduction to reGroup:

The reGroup is a unique coaching program designed to support individuals in the second half of life to take back control of their health and wellbeing.

It’s an empowering, friendly space where practical, science-backed advice on topics like sleep, nutrition, hydration, and exercise is delivered in an accessible, non-intimidating way.

Through weekly live seminars, actionable tips, and consistent support, The reGroup aims to help participants enhance their healthspan and overall quality of life.

For a group like this to be effective, it needs to be composed of people in similar circumstances.  This ensures discussions and exchanges flow freely and feel helpful.

Each group will therefore be 'niched down' to ensure this.

The first group will be aimed at helping ‘Busy Men in Their Best Age’ and later, more groups will be

launched with a similar narrow definition.

  • You will have spent a third, half, or possibly even more of your life, and have had success and gained valuable experiences through the years.

  • However, in hindsight, you realise that you may have neglected your health and wonder how this could impact your longevity and quality of life in the long term.

  • This is where reGroup comes in: We assess and address the lessons learned, and discuss new ones that will help you stay ahead of the curve, rather than leaving you to wonder what you could and probably should have been doing.

More details

The reGroup understands that the typical life hacks aimed at younger generations don’t always resonate with those in midlife.  Our approach is different.

We completely avoid scare tactics and unrealistic advice—instead, we focus on sustainability, quality of life, and empowerment.

The focus is on improving your health and wellbeing without overwhelming complexity or unrealistic promises.  Our goal is straightforward: to help you boost your energy levels, mental clarity, and overall wellbeing by offering practical, realistic advice that you can implement immediately.

We emphasise the importance of sleep, hydration, gentle exercise, and mental wellbeing as foundational aspects of a healthy lifestyle.

Our weekly themes break down these topics into easy-to-understand concepts and offer actionable strategies that fit your busy life.

Each week, we send out an email and a series of social media posts addressing a key health or wellbeing issue, leading to a live seminar where participants can learn more, ask questions, and gain clarity on topics that matter to them.

These live sessions are hosted online, allowing you to attend from anywhere.

You can attend the weekly sessions as and when you wish, but as a member of reGroup, you will have access to a library of session recordings and exclusive resources to continue your health journey at your own pace.

With expert guidance and a supportive community, you'll feel confident in making the right decisions for your health.

You are welcome anytime

You will learn about the topic for the weekly session from the weekly emails or our Instagram posts

There are two ways to join this community:

1.  Drop in whenever you like, on a topic we discuss, and pay as you go.

  • If you would like to attend a session to hear about and discuss the weekly topic, you can register for a spot on our website.

  • You will receive any handouts or other material relevant to the session you attend.

  • The charge is £15 per drop-in session.

  • Although we reserve spaces for drop-ins every week, we regret that we cannot guarantee availability.

2.  Become a reGroup member and attend whenever you like.

  • You are guaranteed a spot for every session:

  • You are sent a link to the session 2 days before the event.

  • A member’s section of our website provides access to all resources, as well as recordings of previous reGroup sessions.

  • FREE Body Stress Score assessment (usually charged at £40)

    • This is a great tool to help you determine your best focus for improved health and wellbeing. (See below)

  • You will be eligible for other offerings, such as webinars and special products, with early-registration benefits.

  • Membership is £40 per month.

The BSS health assessment:

The ‘Body Stress Score’ (BSS) generates a personalised report on your current health and wellbeing, and identifies which areas you should prioritise to improve these.

It generates an overall score along with individual scores for each area essential for optimal human function.

Although you can benefit from addressing any area, you should ideally prioritise the areas with the lowest score at any given time.

As a member of the reGroup, you can retake the assessment at any time; however, I recommend doing so every 2 to 3 months.

The ‘Body Stress Score’ is available to everyone and costs £40.

reGroup members get a complimentary ‘Body Stress Score’ with their initial payment.

The OMPHF reGroup resources

The reGroup section of these resources is designed and organised around the topics discussed in the Q&A sessions (see below).

It is a collection of guides and suggested lifestyle changes, hints and tips for an ever-expanding list of topics, simple checklists, and meal plans and recipes.

They also contain recordings of all previous reGroup sessions.

This information, although valuable, is by no means to be seen as your new reading list with homework and body hacks

Because who needs that?  There is already too much information and too many recommendations for what you ought to do and what you definitely shouldn’t do to gain health and a body to die for.

The intention is always to use the priorities identified in the Body Stress Score (see above) and use those to selectively choose the tools that will help you achieve more ‘OMPHF’ (optimal physiological and metabolic human function) in your life.

Each resource is intended to be strategic, meaning that it aims to make your action steps easier to implement.

As you progress, you will identify different priorities for your journey, and you may decide to shift your focus and access the resources that can help you with those.

The weekly email

Each Friday, you will receive an email musing on the topic of the week and reminding you of how to access the session.

The hope is that it will inspire you to attend that week’s session.

These emails will never attempt to sell anything or provide information you didn’t request.

You decide if that week’s topic is of interest to you, and you decide if you want to attend - or, as a member, you can watch the recording at a later date.

You can sign up for the email here!

The weekly Q&A sessions

As mentioned above, each week, a topic is presented, providing you with a clearer understanding of how this can enhance your health and wellbeing.

I will provide clear explanations of the science behind the importance of any health initiative and then present the simplest ways to achieve the most significant benefit.

Following the brief presentation, the floor will be open for everyone to ask questions related to the day's topic or any other health-related topics.

Think of this group as a locker room:

Just as during halftime breaks or after important games, we will share our views and experiences to ensure the best outcomes in future ‘games’, i.e., the months and years to come.

Example Topics:

  1. The 'omphf' mindset

  2. Whole food nutrition

  3. How to cook for better health

  4. Detoxification

  5. Sleep & Rest

  6. Exercise & Movement

  7. Natural anti-inflammatory strategies

  8. Foundational supplements for more omphf!

  9. Stress-reduction & Self-care

  10. Root-causes of dis-ease and illness

The reGroup Community   - to come later -

This will be a future addition to the reGroup membership, generating further support and access to advice at any time between weekly sessions.

It is an online forum for healthy discussion and debate.

Questions and exchanges foster a deeper understanding of how each element may be relevant and helpful to you, as well as how others have applied new knowledge in their own journey.

As it is impossible to man such a forum 24:7, it will be ‘staffed’ by an AI-bot that can guide you in the right direction to find further assistance.   It will be specifically trained in these topics and may well be able to provide answers you have searched the internet for in vain.

We will review all such Q&A exchanges and, if needed, provide further clarification within a couple of days.

Ask questions, seek support, kickstart, or redirect your journey at any time that is convenient to you.

A unique service to ensure your best outcomes.

Priority access to events

As a reGroup member, you will get early notification of webinars and events and be able to access them at a reduced cost.

These events can provide deeper insights into topics which confuse.  This may be due to complex mechanisms that govern their operation in general and specifically for you, or because influencer trends have generated more confusion than clarity.

I will clarify these issues and empower you to make sensible, informed decisions.

Other examples could include longer events with a theme, such as the best exercise strategies for general health rather than training for a specific event or occasion.

Yet further options could be online courses that you can study in your own time

VIP upgrade options

I also provide one-to-one health and wellbeing consultations.

I keep a strict waiting list for this service; however, as a reGroup member, you can book a consultation whenever you need additional individualised support.

These consultations are charged individually and aim to provide deeper insights and strategies beyond what the reGroup programme is designed to offer.

If you experience significant symptoms that consistently hinder your progress or if you have one or more diagnoses, the reCover or the reFocus programme may be a better fit for you at this time.

These programmes are designed to enable you to identify and address the underlying causes of your chronic condition in either a group (reCover) or one-to-one format (reFocus).

Frequently asked questions:

  1. What are the benefits of membership rather than just watching the episodes one at a time?

    • The programme is purposely designed to offer you both options.

    • If you are unsure whether this approach is right for you, consider attending a couple of sessions before deciding to become a member.

    • Membership has several advantages:

      • If you were to attend each session in the programme, the cost is only 2/3 of what you would pay.

      • As a member, you would be notified directly with a link to each session.

      • We guarantee a space for each member, but we may not be able to accommodate 'walk-ins' at all sessions.

      • As a member, you will have access to all recordings of previous sessions.

      • You will also have access to resources released to support the learning in sessions you haven't necessarily attended.

  2. I prefer working on this by myself.  Why would I want to join a group?

    • There are many benefits from learning and assimilating this material in a group that an individual learning on their own would miss out on:

      • As the group is purposely put together with people of similar age and background, the experiences voiced by the other members on the topics of each session will resonate with your own situation.

      • The slightly different takes and strategies the other members have chosen for their lives are bound to make you think differently about yours.

      • When a decision is made in a group for an action or intervention that will benefit your health and wellbeing, experience shows it is more likely to be carried out.  This is the benefit of group accountability, which isn't easily achieved in a one-to-one setting.

  3. Why would I want to have a BSS health assessment?

    • The 'Body Stress Score' is an online tool that allows you to identify which systems of your body are currently stressed.

    • It provides you with an overall score, which you want to see decrease as you progress with initiatives to improve your overall health and wellbeing.

    • It also provides a 'score' for each body system and some stress patterns.  This allows you to determine which initiatives will yield the most significant benefit—and what you can safely ignore among the myriad information and advice available.

  4. This information is available everywhere these days.  Why would I want it from you?

    • There is indeed no shortage of ways to gain access to health and wellbeing information.  But that is often part of the problem.

      • We don't need the information; we need to understand how it may be relevant to our particular situation.

      • 'Dr Google' and various AI chatbots are excellent at answering specific questions.  However, forming strategies that are relevant and make sense to you is beyond them—at least for now.

    • I am a man of a certain age and with experiences well-suited for a mentoring role in these areas.  It would be a privilege to help you make sense of the available information and select the content that resonates with you and your needs.

  5. What are the differences between the reGroup, the reCover, and the reFocus?

    • reGroup

      • I would hope you see from the above that this programme focuses on optimising wellbeing in groups of like-minded individuals with similar life experiences.

    • reCover

      • This group-based programme is aimed at individuals with persistent symptoms or distinct diagnoses.

      • Persistent ill-health is a very frustrating background to daily life. It often ends up defining choices and routines that then directly interfere with that individual's goals and hopes for living the best life possible.

      • The strategies needed for escaping from this hold are similar for most conditions and individuals.  This is why a group format lends itself well to allow progress without the usual prohibitive costs.

      • The individual's needs are addressed in an initial consultation and in subsequent regular consultations, where decisions are made regarding specific testing and supplementation.

      • This is a link to the page explaining this programme in more detail

    • reFocus

      • This is a one-to-one programme for people in a similar situation to the target audience for the reCover programme. I.e., someone with persistent symptoms or distinct diagnoses.

      • However, as some people have individual considerations or time constraints due to their lifestyle, which make the group-based programme unsuitable, I still offer a few one-to-one consultations in this programme.

      • The progress through this programme shares many similarities with reCover, but the format also allows for more services to be included.

      • I am only able to run a few of these programmes, and the waiting list is therefore strictly adhered to.

      • This is a link to the page explaining this programme in more detail

  6. Why is the reGroup only for busy men in their ‘best age’?

    • This is the initial 'niche' for this programme.

    • Once the format is firmly established and other groups have shown interest, we will open this programme up for other such 'niches'.

    • Do feel free to suggest your own niche for consideration.
